Eleven places where you can swim in the sun in the province of Liège:
Nine outdoor swimming pools and two lakes under surveillance. Here is the list of these swimming spots:

* Domaine Provincial de Wégimont – Pool Complex
Located on the edge of the Herve plateau, Domaine de Wégimont offers you a leisure park with a pond converted into a fishing pond and an outdoor pool complex consisting of 3 pools permanently heated to 26° thanks to solar panels. A 275m² paddling pool (40 cm deep) for children under 6 years old, a 25m x 15m sports pool (1m40 deep) or a play pool with a water slide, slide and bubble benches, there is something for everyone!

* Outdoor swimming pool Wiesenbach
Located next to the campsite, the “Freibad Wiesenbach” consists of a paddling pool with a slide for children and a swimming pool with a surface area of ± 240m², with counter-current swimming. Around the pool, a large lawn invites you to sunbathe or play table tennis.

* Outdoor swimming pool Mon Repos in Malmedy
The “Mon Repos” outdoor swimming pool is located in a superb natural site and offers relaxation and amusement opportunities for young and old alike with a water slide, a volleyball court and a petanque court.

* Spa Communal Swimming Pool
Located in a beautiful green setting on the road to Lake Warfaaz, the water sports facilities include a 50m outdoor Olympic swimming pool with slides of two different lengths (15 or 45m) and diving boards, a children’s pool and games with 8,000 m2 of lawn, a 25m indoor swimming pool with a 40m slide and a children’s pool. There is also a relaxation area with sauna, steam bath and solarium as well as a cafeteria with a large terrace.

* Spa Baths
Indoor and outdoor pools heated to 33°, saunas, hammams and relaxation rooms.

* Playground and outdoor swimming pool – Complexe Les Bressaix in Stavelot
Olympic outdoor swimming pool heated to 24° with paddling pool and aquagym lessons. It is surrounded by a large lawn, a cafeteria and a playground for children.

* Theux communal swimming pool
With a length of 33 metres, this former Olympic swimming pool provides everyone with a pleasant moment of relaxation.
Refreshments are available in the cafeteria or on the terrace.

* Ocquier’s outdoor swimming pool (open every day of the year in July and August from 2pm to 7pm)

The communal outdoor swimming pool, dating from 1958, has a 25 m long pool (max. 2 m deep) and a paddling pool for children. Parasols, chairs, deckchairs, lawn, table tennis table, toilets, showers, snacks, ice cream, drinks… everything is there to spend a pleasant moment of relaxation!

* Lago Eupen Wetzlarbad
Come and enjoy the warmth of the lagoon or sauna, swim in the children’s pool, experience thrills on the wild river course or in the wave pool, swim in the outdoor pools or in the sports pool. Then come and relax in our Rest-eau-café to end your day in style.

And finally, the two lakes supervised by lifeguards:

* Lake Bütchenbach
With an area of 120 ha and supplied by the Warche, Lake Bütgenbach has many activities to offer thanks to the “Worriken” sports and leisure centre created in 1979. You can fish, sail, swim, canoe and also windsurf. There is also a developed beach, a campsite, restaurants and an ADEPS centre (sailing school, tennis, cross-country skiing…).

* Robertville Lake
Intended to supply the Bévercé power plant and the city of Malmedy with drinking water, this artificial lake, created in 1928, covers an area of 63 hectares. It is an ideal place for family relaxation: swimming in the lake, fine sandy beach, rental of pedal boats, trays and small electric motor boats.
