The bed and breakfast  “Matin trnaquille” (Quiet Morning) is located on the North hill of the town, a few  minutes away from the city center, in a quiet street where parking is easy and free.

By train : Station «Liege Palais» is a mile away from home. Everything about trains in Belgium on:  SNCB website

By bus : Near the station “Liege Palais” on the square “place Saint Lambert” you find the busses station. You can hop on number 70, 72, 73 and 74 and ask the stop “arrêt Lefer” (at the corner of our street). For more go to Infotec website

The neighborhood :

On the corner of our street with the main street (rue de Campine), you find

  • the bus stop to get to the city center
  • a small pizzeria,
  • a pharmacy
  • and  a newspaper store

Beside, the house is located between three parks !!!

250m away from home, going through the charming rue des Eglantiers with stairs on both sides and cherry-trees in the middle (In the spring, it is gorgeous).

You cross (carefully) rue de Campine, take the street on your left you are next the “Parc de la Paix”

Should you want to run, or just take a sort walk, you are next to the Park Xhovémont

The park and  Hill of the Citadel is right there too.

Should you want to eat, half a mile away,  you have the choice between a Grill-Restaurant , a Vietnamese, a Tunisian, great wood-fired pizzas, or a Greg restaurants and a sushi bar .

The very “center” is 1 mile/ 1.6km down hill.
